Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) has secured over $15 billion across multiple funds in 2025, marking one of the largest venture capital fundraising efforts in history. The capital spans six sectors, with $6.75 billion allocated to growth, $1.7 billion each for apps and infrastructure, $1.176 billion for American Dynamism, $700 million for bio and health, and $3 billion for other strategies.

The firm singled out AI and cryptocurrency as foundational technologies for future investment, signaling strong institutional confidence in digital assets. This round represents more than 18% of all U.S. venture capital raised in 2025, with potential Ripple effects across crypto markets.
